This is a new version of our kit, but features a true sinewave output (our other
kits are "modified sine wave", which basically is a fancy square wave). Power output
is 150 watts per phase, with a total of 450 watts.

12 Volts DC to 115 Volts AC 400 Hz Three Phase Converter Kit
Above is an example of one customer's finished project. The
terminal blocks and fuse were added by the builder.
This complete kit will allow you to use aircraft instruments that require
115
VAC 400 Hz Three Phase power. This includes gyros in attitude indicators
(our test unit is a good old J8),
directional gyros, airspeed indicators, VSI,
etc. There are many high quality inexpensive 400 Hz instrument available via
surplus. This power supply will let you operate these from a standard 12 VDC
aircraft supply. A completed unit weighs about 10 pounds (transformers are
heavy!). Will power several instruments. Includes a PC Board, all
components,
and instructions.
