Latching Relay Kit

This kit is great for applications where you need a latching relay. For example, many broadcast remote control units (like Burk) only have a pulsed raise/lower output. This easy and quick to build kit will give you a latching output, with both raise and lower. The circuit board includes two latches, and one relay. Configurable LED indicator circuits are also included. Of course, easy to understand step-by-step instructions are also included. Operates on 6 to 14 VDC. $89.96, shipping included in the US.

Westwood 1 MAX and Starguide(tm)Satellite Receiver Tuning Software (Kenware)

Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on unreliable dedicated hardware to send serial tuning strings to satellite receivers, you can use this software (Kenware) on an old computer. This software will send RS-232 serial "strings" to any device, such as a MAX, Starguide II or III, or any other device that needs a serial command sent at a specific time. This software replaces all functionality (and then some) that Broadcast Tools products offer, for a fraction of the price. The software can handle as many standard serial ports that are installed on your PC-compatible hardware. We offer a version that comes with it's own operating system. You only need a floppy drive to use this software, but it can be run from hard drive, memory, CDROM, etc. Windows(tm), MS-DOS, and Linux versions are also available. Also include a configurable clock-sync input to keep the computer clock locked-on. Full Email tech support is included for one year. $59.95 (shipping included worldwide). Please state version (Self contained OS on a 1.44MB floppy, Windows, MSDOS, or Linux. Contact us for custom applications) when ordering.
