Welcome to Radio Takena, KTK! Radio Takena is a Part-15 (low power and license free) hobby radio station in Albany, Oregon. We broadcast on AM, FM and on the internet. We feature local artists, as well as music from the 80s, TV themes, and show tunes.

Do you want to have your own music or talk show?
Radio Takena is looking for volunteers to produce/host locally originated programming. We are looking for music, public affairs, talk shows, and everything else. If you want to do a radio show, please email us!
You provide the talent, and we provide the studio, equipment, and know-how.

Where did we get our station name? Well, Takena is the former Native American (Calapooia) name for Albany. It means wide spot in the river or hole in the ground. The latter translation is why the name was changed to Albany. And, KTK just incorporates Takena into a self assigned call sign.
